We paid tribute to Roy Brown on his 100th birthday. The name might not resonate with everybody, but Bob made the case that Brown’s 1948 song “Good Rockin’ Tonight” is the birthplace of rock ’n’ roll.

Bill previewed this week’s Warren Zevon tribute at the Southgate House Revival. The singer-songwriter, who died in 2003 at 56, will be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November.
