We weren’t smart enough to invite the Tillers to visit the show in advance of their 1st Annual Old Time Stringbreakers Ball, but we played a few tunes to set the mood for Saturday’s shindig at the Southgate House Revival.

Following Jan. 23’s Fifth Anniversary extravaganza, we revisit songs played on our first show (Jan. 22, 2014), including the very excellent “Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand,” The Beatles’ German version of “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” It was our tribute to the long-running German show that we replaced on WAIF. geniessen Sie die Vorstellung!

Numerology holds that the number 5 is the most dynamic and energetic of all single-digit numbers. It’s unpredictable, always in motion, and constantly in need of change. Sounds a lot like our fifth anniversary show when a handful friends were in the studio to help us mark this auspicious event.
