This was indeed a special show as Bill was celebrating the 45th anniversary of his high school graduation. Unfortunately, the beginning of this show as well as the second half have been lost to posterity.

In addition to paying tribute to lyricist Jerry Goffin, who was Carole King’s first husband and songwriting partner, Bob and Bill opened up the show to listeners. The BS&B faithful sent in the names of the songs they heard the last time they were in a car.
